The outer fabric of the pouch, skeins of wool, and practice fabric, are all made from a very high quality lamb’s wool, that’s spun and dyed in Scotland using Global Organic Textile Standard approved dyes. The fibre is Responsible Wool Standard certified. The outer fabric and practice fabric is knitted in the studio on a hand powered knitting machine.
Colour proportions and combinations may vary slightly.
All linings are 100% linen, made in the EU and Oeko-Tex certified. Patterns and colours will vary.
The needle ‘pages’ are made with a woven wool fabric made in the UK, as wool should stop your needles from rusting over time.
Use the lambswool in the skeins double when working on the practice fabric. The yarn is suitable for very fine knits.
All the needles are made in the UK.
The pouch is big enough to store scissors, crochet hooks, stitch holders, a couple of pens etc. It’s been carefully designed to be recyclable or biodegradable when it comes to the end of its life (which shouldn’t be for decades yet).
