A 3 hour Zoom workshop on how to do darning on knitwear.
This will be a relaxed and friendly darning workshop suitable for beginners where you will learn how to darn your knitwear colourfully. Covering different darning approaches of working from the front and back of the fabric, the aim of workshop is to leave you confident to start repairing your own knitwear in a creative way.
Materials will be sent out to you in advance. In the UK materials will be sent by first class post, and I will send them using a tracked and signed for service everywhere else. This can take about 10 days- 4 weeks, so please leave plenty of time for this when you order. If you would prefer to provide your own materials, please see my other darning knitwear workshop.
The zoom link will be emailed to you a week in advance, and on the day of the workshop.
Materials included are:
1 knitted fabric
1 needle
8 mini skeins of lambswool- colours may vary depending on availability. Approx 4.8m of each colour.
You will need to provide your own scissors.
The workshop will be recorded and the link sent to you, so you can re-watch if you would like to afterwards. This recording will be available for 6 months.
All places reserved on this workshop are non refundable, and it can be very difficult to swap dates, so please check your calendar before booking!
All workshop times are UK time. This is GMT until the 1st April, and then BST until the 28th October 2024.
